Falcons Open the 2026 Season!

The wait is over!

After weeks of preparation, conditioning, competition, and growth, the Torrey Pines Girls Lacrosse program is ready to step onto the field for the first games of the 2026 season. Preparation now meets opportunity — and it starts at home.

On Saturday, February 28 at 4:30pm, Varsity opens the season at home against Carlsbad. This is more than just Game One. It’s the first look at a team shaped by leadership, experience, and a commitment to hard work.

Leading the way are varsity Senior captains Catherine Tonelli (SDSU commit), Cameron Silver (SDSU commit), and Reese Rohrbach. Their steady leadership has set the tone throughout preseason, establishing the standard for work ethic and accountability that defines this year’s group.

The Falcons also enter the season with an experienced senior class: Katie Janis, Reese Rohrbach, Cameron Silver, Catherine Tonelli, Kay Zohn, Bridget Kenney, Caleigh Bijan, Grace Livingston, Payton Kelley, and Stella Wilken. For this group, this is the last first game of their high school careers — and that brings both urgency and pride. Their experience provides the backbone of a team determined to compete with discipline and relentless effort.

Adding an exciting new dimension are rookie goalies Siena Geringer and Siena Loftsgard. Stepping into varsity-level responsibility early takes courage, and both have embraced the challenge. Their development and composure will be a key storyline as the season unfolds.

Coaches have emphasized hard work and hustle from day one — adapting quickly, playing unselfishly, and competing for every ground ball, every ride, every possession. That identity will be on display from the opening draw.

The 2026 momentum continues at 6:00PM, when the JV team takes on the Carlsbad squad. This group represents the depth and future of the program, bringing energy, determination, and a hunger to grow. JV games are more than development opportunities — they are foundational moments that build the strength of the entire program.

This season belongs to the players — but it is powered by the community.
