And that’s a wrap on an unforgettable season of high school lacrosse! Congratulations to Coronado High School, who closed out a dominant year with a statement win over Cathedral Catholic, taking the CIFSDS Championship with a commanding 16–4 victory. The Islanders went undefeated (19-0) —yes, you read that right—undefeated, cementing their status as a true SoCal powerhouse. They didn’t just make waves… they brought the whole tide.
A huge shoutout to all the playoff teams, players, and coaches who battled with heart and hustle this spring. Whether you finished with a medal or a mud stain, you were part of something special.
But don’t hang up those cleats just yet—club summer season is right around the corner! Many Falcons will be suiting up again soon, continuing their grind through summer and fall ball, sharpening their skills and setting their sights on a strong 2026 campaign.
To our seniors: farewell and fly high—you’ve left your mark. To everyone else: rest up, rehydrate, and get ready!
Until next season… Go Falcons!
