The Torrey Pines girls lacrosse teams traveled to Coronado last night for a matchup against the Islanders, resulting in a night of mixed results but plenty of takeaways for both squads.
Varsity Falls in Hard-Fought Contest
In a competitive game against a strong Coronado team, the Torrey Pines varsity squad battled but ultimately fell short, losing 9-14. The loss moves their season record to 4-3 as they continue to face high-caliber opponents early in the season. Despite the setback, the team showcased resilience and determination, with standout performances across the field. The Falcons will look to bounce back when they take on St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes this Tuesday night.
JV Dominates to Stay Undefeated
The JV team continues to roll, securing a commanding 14-3 victory over the Islanders. The Falcons controlled the game from start to finish, displaying both offensive firepower and defensive strength. With this win, JV remains undefeated with a stellar 6-0 record. Their next challenge comes Wednesday night when they take on Del Norte High School.
