On a night filled with cheers, tears, and a whole lot of lacrosse, the Torrey Pines Girls Lacrosse teams wrapped up their home season in style against the Poway Titans. But beyond the scoreboard, this night belonged to the seniors—nine varsity Falcons ready to spread their wings and take on the next chapter.
Before the opening whistle, the Falcons honored their graduating varsity players with a heartwarming Senior Night ceremony. With proud families lining the field, each senior was recognized for her contributions, leadership, and incredible dedication to the program. The future looks bright for this crew:
- Audrey Davidson – University of Wisconsin
- Charlie O’Connell – University of Colorado Boulder
- Sydney Stewart – Division I lacrosse at University of Southern California
- Harper Kelly – University of Washington
- Amory Martin – UC Berkeley
- Ella Wisbach – Villanova University
- Idona Riggs – Colgate University
- Savannah Swanberg – University of Mississippi (Ole Miss)
As if the senior sendoff needed a cherry on top, the varsity Falcons delivered one of their most commanding performances of the season, dismantling the Titans 20–5. The offense was firing on all cylinders, the defense stayed locked in, and the energy never dipped—a perfect finale for the home crowd. One regular season game remains on the road at Del Norte, but this squad has already proven it’s built on heart, hustle, and chemistry that’ll carry far beyond high school.

Not to be outdone, the JV Falcons capped their home campaign with a clinical 13–3 win over Poway. Despite missing a few starters, the team played with sharp execution and maturity. The defensive unit stood tall, and at the cage, Ava Tapp made a memorable rookie debut, tallying 3 saves on 5 shots and allowing just 2 goals in 36 minutes.
They’ll also head to Del Norte Friday night for their final game of the season—but rest assured, this JV squad has built a foundation of smart, strong, and unified lacrosse.
