Friday night was another exciting chapter for the girls lacrosse teams, with both Varsity and JV taking the field in high-intensity matchups.

Varsity faced off against Loyola Academy from Wilmette, Illinois, in a battle that showcased their relentless spirit and determination. Despite a tough 19-11 loss, the Falcons girls played with heart and resilience, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with. While this marks their third straight loss, the team has been sharpening their skills against top-tier competition, setting the stage for a strong second half of the season. With a current 4-5 record, this team is hungry to turn the tide and bring home more victories.

Meanwhile, the JV squad continued their dominant run with a commanding 13-5 victory over Cathedral Catholic, securing their second win over the Dons this season. With an impressive 8-0 record, the JV team remains undefeated, displaying exceptional teamwork, skill, and control on the field. Every player contributed to the win, making it a true team effort and reinforcing their position as the team to beat.

As the season progresses, both teams are showing tremendous growth and promise. The Varsity squad is battling through tough competition, gaining experience that will pay dividends down the stretch, while JV continues to prove they are a powerhouse in the making.
