March brought plenty of big moments for the Falcons, and one name kept showing up in all the right ways. Senior captain Reese Rohrbach has officially been named Torrey Pines Athlete of the Month, and it is easy to see why!
Now in her third year on varsity, Reese has grown into a complete midfielder who impacts every inch of the field. Whether she is pushing the attack, setting up teammates, or battling for control at the draw, she brings a level of intensity and consistency that sets the tone for the entire team. In the month of March alone, Reese tallied 8 goals and 5 assists, proving she can both finish and compete at a high level!
What makes her performance even more impressive is how she dominates both sides of the ball. Reese is not just contributing on offense, she is stepping up defensively, winning possessions, and doing all the little things that help the Falcons compete at a high level. She plays with confidence, toughness, and a clear understanding of the game.
As a team captain, Reese has also taken a big step forward as a leader this season. She leads by example every day, pushing her teammates in practice and bringing energy and focus on game day. Her commitment to the team and her willingness to take responsibility in big moments have made a lasting impact on the program.
Recognition like this does not come by accident. It comes from hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for the game. Reese embodies all of that and more.
Congratulations Reese, this honor is well deserved! The Falcons are lucky to have you leading the way!
